The engineering output a normal team measures in years.

Weekly commits, Feb–Jun: grey manual baseline, blue single-agent (May), green Max-5x + workflow (June). The step-change at W23 is the workflow, not the model.

I run Unityzm — a sovereign digital infrastructure platform for Zambia: 38 domains spanning identity, wallets, a central-bank rail, tax, the regulator, logistics, commerce and an AI agent layer. Built solo.

In February I was shipping at a normal human pace. By June, working with Claude on a flat Max 5x plan plus a proper workflow, delivery efficiency hit roughly the baseline — and it's still climbing toward ~9–10× as the regime stabilises.

Same person. Same codebase. The multiplier is pure tooling and process — no team-size confound to hide behind.

Over the next few posts I'm going to break this down with the actual numbers from my own git history — and cross-check them against the independent research, including the studies that complicate the story. The good, and the honest caveats.

Because "8×" is easy to say and easy to inflate. I'd rather show the receipts.
